Part 1: The Idea
|
The idea for The Dumb Bunnies came from Dav Pilkey's love of stupid humor.
He was especially inspired by the antics of 'The Stupids', who appear in a
series of books by Harry Allard and James Marshall.
Dav wanted to create his own family of good-natured dummies. Then one night
while standing in the rain like an idiot, Dav Pilkey got the idea for "The
Dumb Bunnies".
This is Dav's very first drawing of the Dumb Bunnies.
