Part 2: The Text
Dav wanted to create simple, easy-to-read stories like his favorite beginning reader series, Frog and Toad, George and Martha, and Henry and Mudge. So he sat down and began writing simple, funny stories about a simple, funny character. The first three Dragon books were all written at the same time, over the course of about two weeks. Whenever Dav would get stuck on one story, he'd start working on one of the other two stories. For more info on the creation of this text, check out the BOOK PAGE for this story.

Dav couldn't find the original text for this book, so we've posted the original text for Dragon's Halloween. We're hoping nobody will notice.
