Part 1: The Idea
|
The idea for these books came from Dav's pets, Blueberry and Leia, and from
his love of old monster movies. Dav thought it might be fun to do a parody
of two of his favorite movies, using two of his favorite pets as the stars.
Dav started by making a few sample paintings. He wanted to use real
photographs of his animals in the paintings, so he snapped some pictures of
Leia, Blueberry, and his pet mice, and then inserted the photos into these
three paintings.
